So much in this post! First - congratulations on your excellent scan. My husband has had multiple myeloma (cancer of the plasma part of the blood) for 6 years and I still live for the monthly lab results that tell us if he’s still in remission (there’s no cure) and can continue with his current drugs. He doesn’t have that same feeling because he knows the labs will be good. I love being married to a positive optimist (because I’m not)!
I love your giant Christmas tree and the kids were right to choose that one. Especially Layla - always trust an artist’s eye. Okay - you’re an artist too but with words - but Layla has “the eye.” I can’t imagine that tree on top of any vehicle!
I’m so excited you tailed The Muffin Man! I hope he curtailed his drinking, driving, and littering. I wonder why he changed jobs.
Poor Tan. She really needs a doggy psychologist. It’s nice she forgot about the trauma associated with you for a few minutes.
Merry and Happy Christmas! What I want for Christmas - pictures and stories of the cat.
Thanks Mary. Wow, your husband does sound amazing. I love his positive outlook. Wishing you both all the best.
Yes, I think Tan does need to see a doggy psychologist. She came out for a long walk and beach trip with us yesterday and had such a great time that she didn't want to get out of the van when we were home.
Happy Christmas from across the pond. Thank you for Reconnecting, and for this issue's reminder about everything we ought to be grateful for (but sometimes forget in the madness of life).
Belated Merry Christmas to you & your family! Congrats on completing another marathon of sorts and hope you are enjoying the holiday and making wonderful memories with your family 😀🎄
Love the tale of the two Christmas trees, the massive one looks fabulous! Good luck with Tan in 2025, and I loved the tale of your December marathon. And huge congratulations on a clean bill of health from your MRI! Keep on making us smile George xxxx
Nadolig Llawen!
Nadolig Llawen to you too!
Both trees are beautiful. May your days be filled with peace, joy and love.
Thanks Marianne. Peace, joy and love to you too. ❤️
